AUSVEG National Awards for Excellence

AUSVEG colour logoFlowerdale Farm was honoured to recently receive a nomination for an “Innovative Marketing Award” in the 2014 AUSVEG National Awards for Excellence.  AUSVEG is the national peak industry body representing the interests of Australian vegetable growers and is committed to securing the industry’s future.

The Awards for Excellence recognise the outstanding contributions made by members of the vegetable industry.  The Awards event is the culmination of the 2014 AUSVEG National Convention being held from 19-21 June in tropical far north Queensland.

 

 

Eat Street

one of the dishes offered by No35 at Eat St 2013 webOn the 27th May the Sofitel Melbourne on Collinswas transformed into a Parisian-style hawker market for the unforgettable charity event Eat Street.  Celebrating its 15th anniversary, Eat Street, the annual gourmet charity event was the ultimate foodie extravaganza, together more than 30 top Melbourne restaurants, chefs and beverage suppliers.

Guests enjoyed an evening of French frivolity whilst raising vital funds for Redkite to support children and young people with cancer and their families.

Participating restaurants included Coda, No35, The Point, Il Bacaro, Cumulus Inc, Hellenic Republic, Saint Cripin, Huxtable, Sails on the Bay and Estelle Bar to name a few.

A Night to Remember 2014

2014-05-06 ANTR-RACV-27 2On Saturday 17th May, five of Melbourne’s best chefs joined forces with legendary sportsman Max Walker AM as Master of Ceremonies at the 2014 A Night To Remember fundraising dinner to support people living with dementia, their families and carers.

The event featured dishes created by Chef De Cuisine Jeffrey Tan, IPF Culinary Consultancy Services; Executive Chef Mark Normoyle, RACV City Club; Executive Chef Raymond Capaldi, Hare and Grace; Executive Chef Dale Lyman, William Angliss Institute and Executive Pastry Chef Pierrick Boyer, Le Petit Gateau.
